| General MM5 model forecasts for Europe and Greece are issued, as well as detailed forecasts for selected locations over Athens, with the highest resolution (2 km), today available in Greece. MM5 model is executed daily at the National Observatory of Athens, on a 16 PC-cluster (1.8 GHz Athlon), using as initial conditions data from the U.S-GFS global model, kindly provided by the U.S. Weather Service. |
