BOLAM2000 model is verified against NCEP analysis data, provided every day at 0000 and 1200 UTC.The verified parameters are 850 hPa and 500 hPa geopotential height and temperature.The following diagrams show calculation of RMSE (root mean square error) since the beginning of the operational use of BOLAM2000 at the National Observatory of Athens (November 1999).
